(University of Texas):
It was odd that my niceguy boyfriend didn't call me on my birthday to arrange to take me out celebrating. I called him in the evening to ask what the problem is and he said he is too busy studying for the summer school finals. I don't want to dissuade good behavior like studying, so I wished him luck. Two in the morning and I answer the my phone, he is slurring drunk and demanding a ride for home from some fraternity party. Nice. I future seems bleak.

- This summer my college girlfriend came to my home town to visit. While there my mother pulled me to the side and gave me a family wedding ring and said I could propose with it my girlfriend hears and starts wailing like i proposed. the fact is that i had been dating my high school sweetie my whole freshman year and my mom was talking about her. It wasn't a good break up and i feel like a jerk, but my mom did this to me.
- So...this is something that can really sneak up on gal. I've been on a few dates with this guy and it seemed pretty good but we hadn't slept together yet. So who knows, right? Then we went to a movie. OMG the guy was a Darth Breather! Soo loud. I looked over and he had his mouth open and he was taking in chunks of air like he was on Everest. i was so embarrassed. It sounded like I was in a scuba class or something. I asked him if he was sick and said no. Really? You can really learn a lot about a person by sitting next to them in a theater. No way me and Darth were gonna make it. No way.
- While checking my email at work, I get to one from the guy I was dating for the past 6 weeks. In the email, he said that he'd like to just be friends. After reading it over a few times, I said out loud "I think I just got dumped in an email!" and got the opinions of all of my office-mates. We all agreed that it was the most chicken *&@# way to dump a girl (aside from the post-it on SATC).
